18. Powers and Functions of the Director-General

The Director-General shall–

(a)

institute criminal proceeding on an indictment or a charge sheet on the direction of the

Commission;

(b)

be the Chief Executive Officer of the

Commission;

(c)

be the Chief Accounting Officer of the

Commission; and

(d)

carry out all such other duties and functions necessary to achieve the objects of this Act.
