Part V · Winding Up of Licensed Bank

96. This Act to prevail over other written laws

නිල ඉංග්‍රීසි පරිවර්තනය. එය සිංහල හෝ දෙමළ පාඨයට වඩා වෙනස් නම් බලපවත්වන පාඨය කුමක්දැයි පනතේම සඳහන් වේ.

(1)

In the event of any inconsistency between the provisions of this Act and any other written law for the time being in force, the provisions of this Act shall prevail.

(2)

Nothing contained in the provisions of the Bank of

Ceylon Ordinance, the People’s Bank Act, the National

Savings Bank Act, the State Mortgage and Investment Bank

Act, the Housing Development Finance Corporation Bank of Sri lanka Act, the Pradeshiya Sanwardhana Bank Act or any other Statute under which a state-owned commercial bank or a specialised bank will be established, shall be construed as a waiver or restriction of the resolution authority of the Central Bank under this Act.
