2. Section 6 of the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Replacement

Educational

Institution or educational institution as an affiliated college of the

University. The Council may register any such institution if such institution conforms to such conditions as may be laid down by the Couneil by regulation

:

Provided that, if one or both of the leading pirivenas namely, Vidyodaya and

Vidyalankara establish educational institu-tions in their respective Pirivenas and in writing apply to the Council that such educational institutions in their respective pirivenas be recognized and registered as affiliated colleges of the University, the

Council shall subject to the preceding pro-visions of this section register such institu-tions as the principal affiliated colleges of the University and financially assist to develop such colleges

Provided further that, if any Pirivena specified in the Schedule hereto, establishes any educational institution in the Pirivena and in writing applies to the Council that such educational institution be recognized and registered as an affiliated college of the 9-—A71288 11,935 (83/07)
