Buddhist Temporalities (Amendment) Act 1980
ප්‍රතිචාර සහ සහායනිල ඉංග්‍රීසි පරිවර්තනය. එය සිංහල හෝ දෙමළ පාඨයට වඩා වෙනස් නම් බලපවත්වන පාඨය කුමක්දැයි පනතේම සඳහන් වේ.
මෙම අතුරුමුහුණත යන්ත්‍රයෙන් පරිවර්තනය කර ඇත. නීති සහ අධිකරණ තීන්දු ඒවායේ මූලාශ්‍ර භාෂාවෙන් පෙන්වනු ලැබේ.

This Act may be cited as the Buddhist Temporalities
(Amendment) Act, No, 22 of 1980.
Section 14 of the Buddhist Temporalities Ordinance
(hereinafter referred to as the “principal enactment”) is hereby amended as follows :—
by the substitution for the words “No person shall be appointed, or, if so appointed, shall act as trustee”, of the following
:-—
“No person shall be eligible to be elected or to be appointed, or if elected or appointed shall act. as trustee— ” ; and
by the insertion immediately after paragraph (©) of the following new paragraph :—
“ (bb) if he is disqualified, by or under the pre-visions of any written law, from practising or engaging in any profession, vocation or trade ;”’.
The amendments made to the principal enactment by section 2 of this Act shall be deemed for all purposes to have come into force on the date on which the principal enactment came into force.
Nothing in this Act shall invalidate or be deemed to have invalidated any act done by any person as a trustee prior to the commencement of this Act.
