28. Functions of divineguma community based banks

The functions of the divineguma community based banks shall be :–

to motivate divineguma beneficiaries to save;

to provide loans to divineguma beneficiaries at individual and group levels;

to educate divineguma beneficiaries on financial management;

to ensure welfare of the depositors and members of their families;

to develop a banking culture among its customers;

to distribute such subsidies as may be provided by the government.
