18. Amendment of section 47A of Chapter 89

Section 47A of the Mortgage Act, is hereby amended in subsection 7 of that section by the insertion immediately after paragraph (c) thereof of the following new paragraph :—

“(cc)

the Housing Development Finance Corporation

(Bank) of Sri Lanka established by the Housing

Development Finance Corporation of Sri Lanka Act,

No. 7 of 1997;”.
