31. Amendment of section 134 of the principal enactment

Section 134 of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows :—

(1)

by the renumbering of that section, as subsection (1) of that section ; and

(2)

by the addition immediately after the re-numbered subsection (1) of that section, of the following new subsection :–

“(2)

The excess referred to in subsection (1) shall be deemed to be interest accruing from such

Security, Treasury Bond, Treasury Bill or

Central Bank Security, as the case may be.”.
