3. General objects of the Corporation

The general objects for which the Corporation is constituted are hereby declared to be—

to foster and promote unity and brotherhood among the Muslim community of Sri Lanka in particular, and all other communities living in Sri Lanka ;

to promote the religious, educational, social and economic development of the Muslim community of Sri Lanka in particular, and of all other communities living in Sri Lanka ;

to encourage people, to invest their savings and to grant donations for the attainment of the objects of the Corporation ;

to promote and encourage inter-communal amity while safeguarding the interests of the Muslim community

to do all such other things as are incidental or conducive to, the attainment of the above objects.
