67. Central Bank to issue guidelines to the Authority

(1)

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Act or any other written law, the Central Bank may in order to strengthen the stability of the financial system and to make qualitative improvements in the regulation and supervision of a licencee, issue guidelines to the Authority, and the Authority shall give effect to such guidelines issued by the Central Bank by making appropriate rules or issuing directives or by taking any other appropriate action.

(2)

The Central Bank may call for information from the

Authority, from time to time, and it shall be the duty of the

Authority to submit such information in a timely manner.
