The functions of the Academy shall be to—
(a)
provide advanced training and education on policing, law-enforcement and related subjects to student officers;
(b)
conduct research and studies on issues directly related to policing and law-enforcement; and
(c)
disseminate and share professional knowledge on policing and law-enforcement for the benefit of those concerned through relevant programmes and publications.
