An Act TO AMEND THE PARLIAMENT

PRIVILEGES) Act.

(POWERS AND

BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist

Republic of Sri Lanka as follows :—

This Act may be cited as the Parliament (Powers and

Privileges) (Amendment) Act, No. 17 of 1980.

Part A of the Schedule to the Parliament (Powers and Amendment

Privilege) Act, as amended by Law No. 5 of 1978, is hereby further amended, by the insertion, immediately after Chapter 393.

:paragraph 6 thereof, of the following new paragraph :—

“6A. Wilfully publishing any report of any debate or proceedings of Parliament containing words or statements after the Speaker has ordered such words or statements to be expunged from the official report of Parliamentary

Debates (HANSARD).”.

Annual subscription of Bills and Laws of the Parliament Rs, 30 (Local),

Rs. 40 (Foreign), payable to the SUPERINTENDENT, GOVERNMENT PUBLICATIONE-Burzau, P. O. Box 500, CoLomso 1, before 15th December each year in respect of the year following. Lave suoscriptions will be accepted on the conditions that.

Billa and Laws issued before the date of payment will not be supplied.
