5. Official oath or affirmation
ප්රතිචාර සහ සහායනිල ඉංග්රීසි පරිවර්තනය. එය සිංහල හෝ දෙමළ පාඨයට වඩා වෙනස් නම් බලපවත්වන පාඨය කුමක්දැයි පනතේම සඳහන් වේ.
A person appointed to the office of Ombudsman shall not enter upon the duties of his Office until he takes and subscribes the oath or makes and subscribes the affirmation set out in the Schedule hereto, before the President.
