13. Amendment of section 365 B of the principal enactment

Section 365B of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows:—

(1)

in sub section (2) of that section—

(a)

by the substitution in paragraph (a) of that subsection for the words “seven years” of the words “five years”;

(b)

by the substitution in paragraph (b) of that subsection for the words “ten years” of the words “seven years”;

(2)

by the addition, immediately after the end of subsection (2) of that section, of the following explanation :—

“Explanation : “injuries” includes psychological or mental trauma”.
