24. Offences

නිල ඉංග්‍රීසි පරිවර්තනය. සිංහල පාඨය බලපවත්වයි. නිල Sinhala පාඨය විවෘත කරන්න, documents.gov.lk හි නිල PDF

Every person who —

(a)

fails to furnish any information or produce any document, when required to do so under section 18

of this Act ;

The Sri Lanka Institute of Textile and Apparel

(b)

knowingly makes any false statement in any information furnished by him ; or

(c)

acts in contravention of any provisions of this Act or any regulation or rule made thereunder, shall be guilty of an offence under this Act, and on conviction after summary trail before a Magistrate, be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred rupees or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
