53. Director-General may delegate his functions

The Director-General may with the approval of the

Board and whenever he considers it necessary to do so, delegate to any officer of the Authority, any function or duty imposed on or assigned to him by this Act and such officer shall discharge and perform such function or duty, subject to the direction and control of the Director-General.
