This Act may be cited as the Tea Small Holdings Short title.
Development (Amendment) Act, No. 42 of 2006
Law, No. 35 of 1975, is hereby amended in paragraph (b) of section 4 of Law, subsection (1) of that section, by the repeal of sub-paragraph (vi) of that paragraph and the substitution therefor of the following new sub-paragraphs :—
“(vi) a representative of the Ministry of the Minister in charge of the subject of Plantation Industries ;
one person nominated by the Minister in charge of the subject of Plantation Industries.”.
In the event of any inconsistency between the Sinhala Sinhala text to and Tamil texts of this Act, the Sinhala text shall prevail.
