18. Amendment of section 68 of the principal enactment

அதிகாரப்பூர்வ ஆங்கில மொழிபெயர்ப்பு. சிங்கள அல்லது தமிழ் உரையிலிருந்து வேறுபடும் இடங்களில் எந்த உரை மேலோங்கும் என்பதைச் சட்டமே குறிப்பிடுகிறது.

Section 68 of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows:–

(1)

by the insertion immediately after the definition of the expression "the Council" of the following definition:–

"University Grants Commission" means the

University Grants Commission established under the Universities Act, No. 16 of 1978;";

(2)

in the definition of "teacher", by the substitution for the words "a teacher; and" of the words "a teacher.";";

(3)

in the definition of "the Council", by the substitution for the words "the University." of the words "the University; and".
