2. Amendment of section 3 of Act…

Section 3 of the Budgetary Relief Allowance of Workers

Act, No. 4 of 2016 is hereby amended as follows: -

(1)

in subsection (1) thereof, by the substitution for the words and figures "With effect from May 1,

2015,", of the words and figures "For the period commencing on May 1, 2015 and ending on

March 31, 2025, ''; and

(2)

in subsection (2) thereof, by the substitution for the words and figures "commencing from

January 1, 2016", of the words and figures "for the period commencing on January 1, 2016 and ending on March 31, 2025,".
