An AcT TO AMEND THE GUIDES ORDINANCE.
BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist
Republic of Sri Lanka as follows :—
s 1Short title
This Act may be cited as the Guides (Amendment)
Act, No. 63 of 1981.
s 2° section 8 of Chapter 273
Section 8 of the Guides Ordinance is hereby amended by the substitution for all the words from “ not exceeding twenty rupees or to simple or rigorous imprisonment for uny period not exceeding one month.”, of the following :—
“not exceeding five hundred rupees, or to imprisonment of either description for any period not exceeding three months. ”,
