52. Amendment of section 140 of the principal enactment
அதிகாரப்பூர்வ ஆங்கில மொழிபெயர்ப்பு. சிங்கள அல்லது தமிழ் உரையிலிருந்து வேறுபடும் இடங்களில் எந்த உரை மேலோங்கும் என்பதைச் சட்டமே குறிப்பிடுகிறது.

Section 140 of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows :—
(1)
in subsection (10) of that section, by the substitution for the words “the Commissioner-General in writing”, of the words “the Commissioner-General in writing ;”.
(2)
by the addition at the end of that subsection, of the following proviso :—
“Provided, however, the Board shall make its determination or express its opinion as the case may be, within two years from the date of commencement of the hearing of such appeal :
Provided further where the hearing of any appeal has commenced at the date of commencement of this Act, the appeal shall be determined or an opinion shall be expressed within two years from the commencement of this Act.”.
