4. General powers of the Corporation
கருத்துகள் மற்றும் உதவிஅதிகாரப்பூர்வ ஆங்கில மொழிபெயர்ப்பு. சிங்கள அல்லது தமிழ் உரையிலிருந்து வேறுபடும் இடங்களில் எந்த உரை மேலோங்கும் என்பதைச் சட்டமே குறிப்பிடுகிறது.
Subject to the provisions of this Act and any other written Law, the Corporation shall have the power to do, perform and execute all such acts, matters and things as are necessary or desirable for the promotion and furtherance of the objects of the Corporation, or any one of them, including the power to—
open, operate and close bank accounts ;
to borrow or raise money with or without security ;
to receive or collect grants and donations ;
to engage, employ and dismiss officers and servants required for the carrying out of the objects of the
Corporation ;
to invest funds of the Corporation according to concept of “Shariath” which is defined and authorized under the Islamic Law.

The affairs of the Corporation shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules in force for the time being of the Corporation, be administered by a Board of
Management consisting of the Chairman, the Honorary
Secretary, the Honorary Treasurer and other members elected in accordance with such rules.

The First Board of Management of the Corporation shall consist of the members of the Board of Management of the Society holding office on the day immediately preceding the date of commencement of this Act.
