The Ombudsman shall, at least once in every calendar year, send to the President and to Parliament, a report of the work done during the preceding calendar year in the exercise, performance and discharge of his powers, duties and functions under this Act.
49.
Power of entry on premises
For the purposes of this Act, the Ombudsman may at any time and at any reasonable kour of the day or of the night, enter upon any premises or place used or occupied by any Government department, public corpora-tion, local authority, or other like institution and inspect such premises or place and anything for the time being therein or thereon and subject to the provisions of section 15, conduct therein any investigation that is within his jurisdiction.

Before entering upon any such premises or place, the

Nothing in subsection (1) shall authorize the
Ombudsman or any other person to enter any premises or place, ship or aircraft which is a prohibited place within the meaning of the Official Secrets Act.
