6. Amendment of section 7 of the principal enactment
கருத்துகள் மற்றும் உதவிஅதிகாரப்பூர்வ ஆங்கில மொழிபெயர்ப்பு. சிங்கள அல்லது தமிழ் உரையிலிருந்து வேறுபடும் இடங்களில் எந்த உரை மேலோங்கும் என்பதைச் சட்டமே குறிப்பிடுகிறது.
Section 7 of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows :—
by the repeal of subsection (1) of that section and the substitution therefor, of the following subsection :—
“(1) There shall be charged, levied and paid a cess, at such rate as may be determined by a resolution of Parliament, for every kilogramme of raw natural rubber exported from Sri Lanka. "

by the tepeal of subsections (2), (3) and (4) of that section ;
by the renumbering of subsections (6) and (7) of that section as subsections (2) and (3) respectively of that section ;
in the renumbered subsection (2) of that section by the substitution for the words “ export duties ” of the word “cesses”.
in the renumbered subsection (3) of that section, by the substitution for the words “ export duties ” and
“
“ Principal Collector of Customs ”, of the words
‘cesses " and “ Director-General of Customs ”
respectively
by the substitution for the marginal note to that section of the following marginal note :-—
“Levy of cess for providing the fund with income.” .
