28. Interpretation

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires –

“Constitutional Council” means the Constitutional Council appointed under Chapter VIIA of the Constitution ;

“Minister” for the purposes of this Act, shall mean the

Minister in charge of the subject of Finance ;

“welfare benefit payment” means a payment to which a person to whom this Act applies, is entitled to, in terms of a Welfare Benefit Scheme ;

“Welfare Benefit Scheme” means a Scheme formulated under section 9 of the Act.
