Part II · Countervailing Duties

74. Termination for insufficient evidence of an investigation under this Part of this Act

An investigation under this part of this Act shall be terminated at any time, where the Director-General determines that:—

(a)

the amount of countervailable subsidy is de minimis or that the volume of subsidized import, actual or potential, or its injury being caused to the Sri Lankan industry, is negligible; or

(b)

there is not sufficient evidence to justify continuing with the investigation.
