34. Institution, abolition and suspension of posts in the staff of the University

It shall be the duty of each Faculty Board to make written proposals to the Academic Council relating to the institution, abolition and suspension of posts of teachers required for such Faculty. The Academic Council shall consider and evaluate such proposals and thereafter make its recommendations to the relevant Faculty Board.

It shall be the duty of the Registrar of the University to make recommendations to the Board relating to the institution, abolition and suspension of all non-academic posts in the University.
