12. Principal function of the Council
ප්රතිචාර සහ සහායනිල ඉංග්රීසි පරිවර්තනය. එය සිංහල හෝ දෙමළ පාඨයට වඩා වෙනස් නම් බලපවත්වන පාඨය කුමක්දැයි පනතේම සඳහන් වේ.
The principal function of the Council shall be the promotion and protection of the welfare and the rights of elders in Sri Lanka and to assist elders to live with self respect, independence and dignity.
