18. Expenses of the Trust
கருத்துகள் மற்றும் உதவிஅதிகாரப்பூர்வ ஆங்கில மொழிபெயர்ப்பு. சிங்கள அல்லது தமிழ் உரையிலிருந்து வேறுபடும் இடங்களில் எந்த உரை மேலோங்கும் என்பதைச் சட்டமே குறிப்பிடுகிறது.
The moneys lying to the credit of the Trust, other than the sums paid into the Fund under section 12, shall be utilized for the following purposes :—
all such payments necessary for the purpose of carrying out the objects of the Trust ;
expenses necessary for the administration, establish-ment and maintenance of the Trust;
{c) the payment of salaries to officers, servants and other employees
; and
all such other payments as are approved by the
Board as being necessary for the purpose of carry-ing out the objects of the Trust.
49.
Issue of licences,
No person shall except under the authority of, and other than in accordance with the conditions set out in a licence issued by the
Custodian Trustee or a person authorized by him in writing (hereinafter referred to as the “authorized officer”), provide for a fee or levy any facility for the purpose of viewing the annual Mahanuwara
Esala Perahera. Such licence shall be issued upon applica-tion made in that behalf in the form provided for the purpose,
The Custodian Trustee or an authorized officer may cali for such further particulars as may be necessary to determine whether a licence under subsection (1) should be issued or not to the person making an application under that subsection.
The Custodian Trustee or an authorized officer may refuse to issue a licence if he is satisfied that—
the proposed fee or levy is excessive or unreasonable in the circumstances
;
the facilities to be provided are inadequate
; or
the precautions that will be taken to ensure the safety of the public are inadequate.
The following conditions may be set out in the licence issued under subsection (1) :-——
the maximum fee or levy to be charged ;
the facilities that are to be provided
;
the precautions that are to be taken to ensure the safety of the public.
