4. Disqualification from being a member,
கருத்துகள் மற்றும் உதவிஅதிகாரப்பூர்வ ஆங்கில மொழிபெயர்ப்பு. சிங்கள அல்லது தமிழ் உரையிலிருந்து வேறுபடும் இடங்களில் எந்த உரை மேலோங்கும் என்பதைச் சட்டமே குறிப்பிடுகிறது.
A person shall be disqualified from being appointed or continuing as a member of the Authority if—
he is or becomes a member of Parliament or any
Provincial Council or any focal authority ; or
Provincial Council
“Provincial Council” means a Provincial Council established under Chapter XVIIA of the Constitution;
National Child Protection Authority
he is not, or ceases to be, a citizen of Sri
Lanka
; or
he is under any law in force in Sri Lanka or in any other country found or declared to be of unsound mind ; or
he is serving or has served a sentence of imprisonment imposed by any court in Sri Lanka or any other country ; or
he holds or enjoys any right or benefit under any contract made by or on behalf of the Authority ; or
he has any financial or other interest as is likely to affect prejudicially the discharge by him of his functions as a member of the Authority.
