22. Management. policy on soil coner-vation

The Authority in consultation with the Council shall, with the assistance of the Ministry of the Minister in charge of the subject of Soil Conservation, recommend soil conser-vation programmes including therein the identification and protection of critical watershed areas, encouragement of scientific farming technique, physical and biological means of soil conservation, and short term, and long term research and technology for effective soil conservation.
