No civil or criminal proceedings shall be instituted against the Competent Authority or against any Medical
Officer of Health or Public Health Inspector to whom the performance or discharge of any function or duty imposed upon the Competent Authority by this Act has been delegated under subsection (2) of section 14 of this Act, for any act which in good faith is done or purported to be done by such
Medical Officer of Health or Public Health Inspector, as the case may be.
