(1)
The Minister may make regulations for the purpose of carrying out or giving effect to the principles and provisions of this Act.
(2)
In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the powers conferred by subsection (1), the Minister may make regulations in respect of all or any of the following matters :—
(a)
issuing guidelines as to the form of any notice required to be sent by the Competent Authority to any owner or occupier under this Act;
(b)
recommending the measures to be taken and the type of pesticides to be used by an owner or occupier of any premises to eradicate the breeding of mosquitos; and
(c)
issuing guidelines on Anti-Mosquito measures to the Anti-Malaria Campaign and any other similar
Agency functioning under the Ministry, for the prevention and eradication of the breeding of mosquitos.

Every regulation made by the Minister shall be published in the Gazette, and shall come into operation on the date of such publication or on such later date as shall be specified in the regulation.
(4)
Every regulation made by the Minister shall as soon as convenient after its publication in the Gazette, be brought before Parliament for its approval.
(5)
Any regulation which is not so approved shall be deemed to be rescinded as from the date of such disapproval, but without prejudice to anything previously done thereunder.
(6)
The date on which any regulation shall be deemed to be rescinded, shall be published in the Gazette.
