3. General objects of the Corporation,
கருத்துகள் மற்றும் உதவிஅதிகாரப்பூர்வ ஆங்கில மொழிபெயர்ப்பு. சிங்கள அல்லது தமிழ் உரையிலிருந்து வேறுபடும் இடங்களில் எந்த உரை மேலோங்கும் என்பதைச் சட்டமே குறிப்பிடுகிறது.
The general objects for which the Corporation is constituted are hereby declared to be—
to take all necessary steps to promote the study of
Buddhism
;
to establish unity and co-operation among Buddhists ;
to work in harmony with other Buddhist societies for the advancement of Buddhism ;
(¢) to encourage the practical observance of Buddhism and propagate Buddhism
;
to work towards the advancement of the physical, intellectual and social welfare of the members 3; and
to give financial aid and offer scholarships to those
Buddhist students and Bhikkus residing in the district of Ratnapura who are clever, intelligent and able to pursue higher studies but are prevented from doing so, due to their economic conditions.
