7. Disqualification for being appointed or continuing as, a member of the Board of Management
ප්රතිචාර සහ සහායනිල ඉංග්රීසි පරිවර්තනය. එය සිංහල හෝ දෙමළ පාඨයට වඩා වෙනස් නම් බලපවත්වන පාඨය කුමක්දැයි පනතේම සඳහන් වේ.
A person shall be disqualified from being appointed or continuing as a member of the Board of Management—
if he is, or becomes, a member of Parliament, a member of a Provincial Council or a member of a local authority ;
Provincial Council
“Provincial Council” means a Provincial Council established by Chapter XVIIA of the Constitution; and
if he has been declared to be a person of unsound mind under any Jaw in force in Sri Lanka or any other country ;
if he has been declared insolvent or bankrupt under any law in force in Sri Lanka or in any other country, and remains an undischarged insolvent and bankrupt ;
if he is, serving or has served, a sentence of imprisonment imposed by a court of law in Sri Lanka or any other country ; and
ifhe is convicted, or has been convicted of an offence under any law for the time being in force relating to co-operatives.
