4. Amendment of section 27 of the
கருத்துகள் மற்றும் உதவிஅதிகாரப்பூர்வ ஆங்கில மொழிபெயர்ப்பு. சிங்கள அல்லது தமிழ் உரையிலிருந்து வேறுபடும் இடங்களில் எந்த உரை மேலோங்கும் என்பதைச் சட்டமே குறிப்பிடுகிறது.
Section 27 of the principal enactment as amended by
Law, No. 5 of 1978 is hereby further amended as follows :—
enactment.
by the repeal of subsection (1) of that section and the substitution therefor of the following subsection :—
“(1) Subject to the provisions’
of subsections (2) and (3), Parliament shall have power and jurisdiction to punish summarily any breach of the privileges of Parliament specified in Part B of the Schedule to this Act which is committed in respect of, or in relation to, Parliament by any member or any other person.” ;
by the repeal of subsection (1A) of that section ; and
by the substitution, for the marginal note to that section, of the following marginal note :-—
“Parliament’s jurisdiction over offences specified in Part B of Schedule”.
