13. Amendment of section 44 of the principal enactment

Section 44 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the substitution for the words “not exceeding one hundred rupees or to imprisonment of either description for a term not exceeding three months”, of the words “not exceeding fifty thousand rupees or to imprisonment of cither description for a term not exceeding five years”.
