2. Amendment of Section 2 of Act…

Section 2 of the Appropriation Act, No. 30 of 2021

(hereinafter referred to as the “principal enactment”) is hereby amended as follows :-

(1)

In subsection (1) of that section–

(a)

by the substitution for the words “ rupees two thousand seven hundred ninety six billion four hundred forty six million five hundred fifty eight thousand”, of the words “ rupees three thousand three hundred thirty billion two hundred twenty six million five hundred fifty eight thousand” ; and

(b)

by the substitution in paragraph (b) of that subsection, for the words “rupees three thousand two hundred billion”, of the words

“three thousand eight hundred fourty four billion”;

(2)

in subsection (2) of that section, by the substitution for the words, “ rupees two thousand seven hundred ninety six billion four hundred forty six million five hundred fifty eight thousand”, of the words “rupees three thousand three hundred thirty billion two hundred twenty six million five hundred fifty eight thousand”; and

(3)

in subsection (4) of that section, by the substitution for the words, “ rupees two thousand six hundred twenty three billion one hundred twenty three million four hundred fourty two thousand”, of the words

“rupees two thousand nine hundred one billion one hundred twenty three million four hundred forty two thousand”.
