s 1Short title

This Act may be cited as the Appropriation

(Amendment) Act, No. 42 of 2022.

s 2Amendment of section 2 of Act, No. 30 of 2021

Section 2 of the Appropriation Act, No. 30 of 2021 as amended by Act, No. 21 of 2022 is hereby further amended in paragraph (b) of subsection (1) thereof, by the substitution for the words “rupees three thousand eight hundred fourty four billion”, of the words “rupees four thousand five hundred seven billion”.

s 3Sinhala text to prevail in case of inconsistency

In the event of any inconsistency between the Sinhala and Tamil texts of this Act, the Sinhala text shall prevail.
