s 1Short title

This Act may be cited as the Appropriation

(Amendment) Act, No. 43 of 2003.

s 2Amendment of section 2 of Act No. 31 of 2002

Section 2 of the Appropriation Act, No. 31 of 2002 is hereby amended in paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of that section, by the substitution for the words “rupees three hundred and sixteen thousand million”, of the words “rupees three hundred and seventy-five thousand six hundred and fifty seven million.”.

s 3Sinhala text to prevail in case of inconsistency

Inthe event of any inconsistency between the Sinhala and Tamil texts of this Act, the Sinhala text shall prevail.
