98. Officers and other employees of the Authority deemed to be public servants

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The Members of the Board, the Director-General and all other officers and employees of the Authority, and consultants and advisors appointed by the Authority shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning and for the purposes of the Penal Code (Chapter 19) and of the Code of Criminal Procedure Act.
