41. Officials of the Authority deemed to be public officers

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Members of the Board, the Director-General and all other officers and employees of the Authority, consultants and advisors appointed by the Authority, shall be deemed to be public officers within the meaning and for the purposes of the Penal Code and of the Code of Criminal Procedure

Act respectively.
