46. Compensation may be paid through another licensed bank

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The Central Bank may make payments of compensation to depositors under the Scheme directly or through any other licensed bank as may be determined by the Central Bank which consents to act as a payment bank.
