1. Short title

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

This Act may be cited as the Budgetary Relief

Allowance of Workers Act, No. 36 of 2005.

(2)

The provisions of this Act shall be deemed for all purposes to have come into operation on August 1, 2005.
