17. Rules

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

The Commissioner may make rules in respect of the administration and management of community correction centres established for the purposes of this Act or of a particular community correction centre.

(2)

No rule made under sub section (1) shall have effect until it is approved by the Minister and notification of such approval is published in the Gazette.
