5. Officers and servants

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The Competent Authority may appoint such officers and servants as may be necessary for the implementation of the provisions of this Act, and any officer or servant so appointed shall be deemed to be a public officer.
