3. Director-General and other officers and servants of the Department

(1)

There shall be appointed a Director-General of the

Department (in this Act referred to as the "Director-General")

and such other officers and servants as may be required from time to time to carry out the powers and functions of the

Department.

(2)

The Director-General may delegate in writing to any public officer any of his powers, functions and duties as may from time to time be considered necessary.
