43. Rules

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

The Director-General may, in consultation with the Divineguma National Council, make rules in respect of policy and management of affairs of the Department.

(2)

Every rule made by the Director-General shall not come into operation until it is approved by the Cabinet of

Ministers.

(3)

Every rule so approved shall be published in the

Gazette.
