46. This Act to prevail over other written law

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the provisions of this Act and the provisions of any other written law, the provisions of this Act shall prevail.
