3. Legal recognition of electronic records

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

No data message, electronic document, electronic record or other communication shall be denied legal recognition, effect, validity or enforceability on the ground that it is in electronic form.
