2. Establishment of the Engineering Council, Sri Lanka

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

There shall be established a Council which shall be known as the Engineering Council, Sri Lanka (hereinafter referred to as the “Council”).

(2)

The Council shall by the name assigned to it by subsection (1) be a body corporate and shall have a perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in that name.
